Before you set anything up
Tell Daybook what you run and the whole app changes its words — the menus, the buttons, the search box. These are the labels on the screens, on the day your account is made.
The words a contractor, a shop or a crew-based business sees.
A centre enrols children for the year, so the work is an enrolment. Quotes, takeoffs and subcontractors are not hidden — they are switched off.
A camp or a club books a week or a session, so the work is a booking. Quotes, takeoffs and subcontractors are not hidden — they are switched off.
An enquiry lands in one inbox. The details end up in somebody’s head. The schedule is on a wall, the photographs are on a phone, and the invoice waits until someone sits down at a desk — usually at nine at night. Nothing is missing. It is just in six places, and only one person knows all six. That is the job Daybook took — not the trade, not the classroom, not the camp. Everything around it.
The schedule
Everything you take on has a date. The month at a glance, the week in detail, the whole year on one screen — the office and the field looking at the same picture.
Communications
Email lands on the record. Texts land in the same thread. Team chat, and the family’s or client’s own portal thread, sit on the same record — one Chat button, one inbox. Open any attachment and have it read back to you, summarised, and filed where it belongs.
The portal
Every client or family gets a private link and an email-and-password login: what they booked, what they owe, a way to pay by card or e-transfer, a way to message you back. Photos, notes and consents live there too.
The money
Invoices raised off what was agreed. E-transfer matched for you to confirm, cards online, EFT. An overdue invoice chases itself on rules you set once, with a Pay Now link. Snap a receipt and it fills itself in — down to the line. Log a trip and the mileage log keeps itself at your own rate.
One renderer draws the editor and the live site, so the page you are editing is the page a visitor sees. Every button on it is a real door into the app. The colour system will not let you make it unreadable. Publishing is one press, and the page is live on the next refresh.
Wording
Open Wording, tap the heading, and the page changes as you type. Save. Publish. Live.

See the editorA question from the contact form lands in your inbox. A registration or a request lands as the real record — not an email to retype. Unpublish, and every form closes at once.

Built for you from your industry’s template before you log in — eight industries so far — then yours to edit. Written so search engines, and the assistants people ask now, can read every page. Bring your own domain — we set it up with you.
Automations
Every automatic email is listed in one place — a switch, the timing, the exact wording you can rewrite. Reminders, review requests, follow-ups on your rules. Everything that still needs a human waits in one action list — complete and filterable, not a top-five guess — and one 7am push tells you what needs you today, and stays silent on a calm day.
Personal to you
Tell it about your business once — who you are, what you offer, your policies — and everything it drafts sounds like you. Upload the documents you keep referring back to and it can bring the right one back later. Every job or booking keeps a short written brief of where it stands. Say “write it for me” and the paperwork is written on your letterhead, PDF’d and filed. Upload your logo and it picks your colours out of it. It drafts and summarises. It never does your arithmetic.
Your people
Assign a task with a due date. Build the checklists your team fills in on the job — with a signature if you want one. Clock-in, timesheets and photos from the phone already in their pocket; photo capture works with no signal and syncs when it returns. Recognise the ones who deserve it — award an achievement, grant points, let the leaderboard show it.
One place
It lands as a real enquiry — who it is and what they want, already read out of it. Nothing sits waiting to be noticed.
Agreed, put on the calendar and handed to the people doing it — and whoever needs telling is told, without anyone remembering to.
Raised off what was agreed, chased by a reminder you set once, and settled by the rails your clients already use.

The whole app, desk and pocket, in whichever one suits the hour you are working in. Pick one, or let it follow the device.

Your data
Your data lives on Google Cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest, with access restricted by role and by account — every business its own account.
Your list
Already have a few hundred clients in a spreadsheet or an export? Upload it or paste it in. The columns map themselves, duplicates are caught, and you check every row before it saves.
Where it came from
ACL Masonry has been doing commercial restoration and new construction in Calgary since 2014, with crews in the field every working day — and it runs on Daybook. This app was not researched and it was not focus-grouped. It was used, on real jobs, by the company that built it.
The office sees everything. The field never has to stop.
